Curtis Goldblatt, MD

President/CEO

President/CEO Curtis S. Goldblatt, MD, is a board-certified pathologist. He is the department chairman at Windber Medical Center. Dr. Goldblatt also serves as an adjunct clinical professor of surgery and pathology at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Goldblatt has performed more than 1,000 forensic autopsies in his career. In addition, he has extensive experience as an expert witness and has testified in numerous court cases in multiple counties. In addition, he is the Chief Operating Officer and Associate Medical Director of Laboratory Services at MolecularDx in Windber, PA.
Sidney Goldblatt, MD

Founder

Founder Sidney Goldblatt, MD, is a distinguished pathologist, an entrepreneur, and a pioneer in healthcare information systems. Dr. Goldblatt is board-certified in AP/CP, Hematopathology, Transfusion Medicine, Medical Microbiology, and Forensic Pathology. He was the Chief of Pathology at Conemaugh Health System in Johnstown, PA for 50 years. Dr. Goldblatt has been creating innovative medical data technology since 1965, and developed the world’s first and largest lab-based information system. He is the founder of Sunquest Information Systems and MolecularDx (the in-house laboratory for ForensicDx). He has recently launched a family of next-generation healthcare companies, all with the goal of improving efficiency and outcomes for doctors, patients, and communities. Dr. Goldblatt is a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners and a Fellow of the National Institutes of Health.
Richard Campitell

HT(ASCP)

Richard S. Campitell, HT(ASCP) has been a Forensic Pathologists’ Assistant and Histotechnician since 1995. A graduate of the Conemaugh Hospital School of Allied Health, he is a board certified Histotechnician under the American Society of Clinical Pathology, Forensic Photography at the Medical Examiner’s Office of Dade County (Miami, Florida), and is Deputy Coroner for Somerset County, PA. His expertise includes evisceration, Lodox X-rays, collecting toxicology and DNA samples, gross dissection, tissue processing, frozen sections, fine needle aspirations, gynecological/nongynecological specimen processing, microtomy, embedding, special stains techniques, immunohistochemistry, and in-situ procedures. In addition, Mr. Campitell was also a clinical coordinator of the School of Histotechnology at Memorial Medical Center for seven years, where he was responsible for teaching histotechnology students.
Jeffrey Meyer

HT(ASCP)

Jeffrey Meyer, B.S. HT(ASCP) has been a Histotechnician for the last 18 years with a combination of experience in clinical Histology, Breast Cancer Research, and Forensic Pathology. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and Conemaugh Hospital School of Allied Health, his expertise includes Lodox X-rays, collecting toxicology and DNA samples, evisceration, gross dissection, tissue processing, gynecological/nongynecological specimen processing, frozen sections, fine needle aspirations, microtomy, embedding, special stains techniques, immunohistochemistry and in-situ procedures. In addition, Mr. Meyer is currently a supervisor of a clinical histology laboratory overseeing daily operations of routine Histology/Cytology in accordance with mandated guidelines, QA studies, and diagnosis reporting.
